The blink of an eye....

I feel like I blinked and now I have a 3 1/2 month baby girl with 2 teeth. Life has been going with nursing, weekend family time, craft nights with some of my favorite ladies, running, gardening, laundry, and never ending housework :) it's all going so fast but there are moments I hope to remember forever...

My 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Kawai, such a sweet, servant of God. I love it that she is in our lives.

I love this place called the Carlsbad Inn. I have the best memories of summers with my family, birthday parties, getting engaged and look forward to many more summers with my family

I admire their love <3

We got to stay a week with my parents down by the beach, it was wonderful!

In the blink of an eye I know my baby will be swimming

the 3rd floor. seems like yesterday that Mark proposed to me here.

May 9th we saw Emily's first tooth, a week later the 2nd one was breaking through the skin. She's been a happy baby

Best Mother's Day EVER!

She's a great mom and I'm so happy she's Emily's grandma

She constantly sets an example that we look up to

This melts my heart.

Spring is here!

HAPPY SPRING! March is over?! It was full of family, watching basketball, our first sleepover, a couple rainy (cozy) weekends, planning (and canceling) summer vacation, dinners and outings, growing in God’s word and lots of love. Not to mention our baby is 2 months :)

Here’s a photo collage of this month (I’m thiking I’ll aim for a weekly blog instead of a daily one and see how we do with that;)

Auntie I love you loves our sweet baby

And we loved having our first sleepover with her and Uncle Brent

Poor baby gets no attention

"Honey, look at her, look at her honey"= warms my heart

Love these ladies, so fun being grown up:)

We have so much to be thankful for!

This week before Easter, I’m praying I grow in love- the sacrificing kind- not the when it’s easy and convenient for me kind. The kind that shows love even when I am not feeling loved by my definition. Afterall, Christ showed the ultimate act of LOVE when he was crucified and rose, so we could be with Him forever. The least I can do is continue to love others when I might not feel like it.

Romans 1:4-5
And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name
